House in the Snow

We just about managed to get all the siding out of the way before the snow hit. It's been a warm winter, but we're glad to be able to move indoors now that February is underway. April may be the cruelest month, according to Eliot, but February is pretty brutal too.

There are a few touches outside that we will return to before the house is done: exterior decks on the first and second floors, a front entry landing, and a outdoor nook for firewood storage. You can see the ledger for the exterior deck in the second photo, a clear look at the rear facade of the house with its expansive sliding doors. But we will turn for now to the interior over the next few months.
